Yes, our herd is special!

Our goal in 2020 is to see every horse fully supported by sponsorships

It takes a herd to provide our services in EAP and EAL. We have a variety of equines, to meet a variety of needs in our clients. It costs between $40,000 and $45,000 per year, or $450 per month per horse to keep our 10 members fit, fed and looked after.

We are fortunate in that we have two veterinarians, Dr Jack Gillette of Wildflower Veterinary, and Dr Julie Page, Peninsula Equine, who donate their services to our herd, saving us thousands of dollars.

But that still leaves hay, feed, supplements, shoeing or trimming, stall bedding, blankets and blanket cleaning, tack repair, three feedings per day, plus the work of cleaning stalls, paddocks and pasture maintenance.

If you are looking for a meaningful way to support our program, a monthly gift of as little as $10 can be significant.

Choose which equine you'd like to support, and we'll name you a sponsor here as well as in the barn on our Herd Member Hall of Fame. We will also schedule two Sponsor Days at the facility where you can visit your equine and spend some time grooming, taking photos or even interacting with your equine in a round pen for a lesson on the connection work we utilize with our clients.
